he North Carolina Wildlife Resource Commission (NCWRC) stocks streams in NC with trout. They have a certain amount they stock for each trout stream according to it's holding capacity. The NCWRC stocks these trout streams on a regular schedule. Below are a list of county streams in Western North Carolina that get stocked with trout. It includes the numbers of trout that get stocked, and the month they are scheduled to get stocked. Most of the streams are stocked the first week of each scheduled month.
